Library Lab
Willesden Green Library Centre
London GB

Do you want to be a creator, or a consumer? We can all use computers, smartphones and tablets but do you actually know how they work? It’s time to look at different types of learning, and different ways for you to express yourself. This is where CoderDojo comes in; we are a global movement of free computer programming clubs for young people. We’ll be providing examples of the great things you can do with even the simplest of codes, like creating games, apps and websites. We’ll also be running a workshop for whoever wants to learn the basics of computer languages JavaScript, HTML and CSS. Join in a workshop, try out some coding, or just come along and talk to one of our expert mentors. No experience needed, all kids from 8+ welcome. Remember, adults must be accompanied by a minor!

Bring one of the following:
An agreement: Above all, be cool!
An idea for a cool app
Enthusiasm
Interest in learning to code
Willingness to help others
