DISPLAY: Annex

Display: California was created in 2014 with the creative in mind. This concept store, curated by Unseen Heroes, made it its mission to put California made products, brands, and makers in homes around the world. Since its inception Display: California has transformed from a holiday shop, wedding chapel, kids shop and more. After receiving the creative economy grant from the City of Sacramento last fall, Display expanded and The Annex was built. The Annex is a fully customizable 850 square foot space that brands and makers can takeover for 2-4 weeks. The Annex has already housed The Privy Club, Spike Hard Catch Low Kendama, Carlyse, and Trade School. Now’s your chance to pitch us your product, brand or concept for Display: California and/or The Annex. Wednesday, June 27th from 6-8 p.m. at Trade School, Unseen Heroes will host its first Pitch Day. You’ll have 15-20 minutes to pitch your product or concept to a panel of our team and affluent community leaders.

About the teacher, DISPLAY: California

Set in a 850 sqft storefront in Oak Park's newly developed Triangle District, DISPLAY is a revolving pop up concept that connects retail with community to create amazing experiences again and again. That means every four to eight weeks, DISPLAY will completely change to create another retail experience - from installation and store design to merchandise and daily happenings - all with the intentions of exposing the possibilities that can happen when we all build together. Get ready to reimagine retail...
