About the teacher, Michael Goddard
I’m originally from DBN and spent some time in JHB and abroad working on passenger ships (QE2 and Seabourne Odyssey) as a Sommelier and have been fortunate enough to fuel my “Lifes Fire” with many pieces of different wood from all over the World. I’ve been fortunate enough to work in a top marketing company (The Win Win Group) and introduce noteable products too (Vitamin Water and Marley Coffee). My upbringing was relatively typical of a spoilt little shit and only after really forcing myself to take responsibility for who I was and how I did things, I realised that a change had to happen as I was going nowhere. Since getting into coffee, I’ve found it to be a sort of cocoon for me, encouraging and allowing a new direction of growth and change that was very much needed. It’s the ultimate teacher for someone like me. Details count and things can always be done better. That’s myself and Coffee in a nutshell.
