How to crochet a square

PLEASE NOTE THIS CLASS WILL RUN AS SCHEDULED It is not affected by the suspension of the academic programme on campus. Once you can crochet a square, you can make a blanket or scarf or hat? In this class you will learn: - three different basic crotchet stitches - how to create a square using the new stitches that you learn - how to use the squares you make to create a blanket, scarf or hat What should you bring? - crotchet hook of any size (recommended beginner size: 4mm) Crotchet hooks can be bought from any wool shop, craft shop or material shop for about R 10. I will have spare crotchet hooks for students to borrow during the lesson. - wool of your preferred or favourite colour. Bring more than one colour of wool if you would like your square to be more colourful! An individual square doesn't need a lot of wool so if you have scraps or left overs bring them too!

A copy of your favourite recipe
A second hand children's book for donation
An interesting second hand or bargain book to read
An isiZulu for beginners lesson
Surprise me!
Teach me something - anything!
Vegetable seeds
