In this class I will speak about the country which is the heart of Africa, DRC, and the Patrice Lumumba legacy. I will look at the reasons why people from the DRC have fled our country to come to South Africa, and our experiences of living here (including xenophobia). Finally, I will focus on Ideas of Pan-Africanism to unite Africa from Cape to Cairo. If possible, please bring a USB to get some articles supporting my lecture. I can speak English, French and Swahili.
