Circle Gardening

2:00p.m. to 3:30p.m.
OMB Room 23
Room 23, Old Main Building, Kind Edward Avenue, Scottsville
Pietermaritzburg ZA

Oddly enough, vegetables like to grow in circles. This system of vegetable gardening is water-wise, space-wise, and easy to manage. While it is not necessary to use organic principles, they are well adapted to organic gardening, and the class will take an organic approach. The class will be offered in English.

Bring one of the following:
A packet of (preferably unusual) vegetable seeds
A promise to dig and plant at least one circle garden
A tray of vegetable seedlings
Any fresh, organically grown produce

About the teacher, Jane Harley

Jane likes to do things from scratch, so she likes to grow her own vegetables and herbs, make her own cheeses, and spin, knit and felt wool (although not from her own sheep).
