About the teacher, Gavin Whitelaw

I'm an archaeologist working at the KwaZulu-Natal Museum with an interest in archaeology, history and material culture of southern Africa. My research focus is on the 'Iron Age', which is a short-hand archaeological term for the archaeology of African farmers of the last 2000 years.
