Dec 7, 2013 Saturday
The Common Room at St Laurence's Church
St Benedict's Street

This session will start with some fundamental questions about the purpose of education in the 21st century and what forms it should take. This will be followed by a group discussion to answer these and create some initial, practical steps to start the process within our communities. This is a discussion and ideas session where I hope everyone will contribute.

Bring one of the following:
A commitment to put at least one of the ideas we come up with, into practice.
A recepie of yours for any type of food that you love.
Something (any item) made by you.
Something for us all to share during the session, to help inspire us!
Thoughtful ideas and contrubutions to the discussion.

About the teacher, Mark Narayn

I am interested in education within communities. Although I have a backgrond in music, I have been teaching for 25 years, and have been looking at ways education might move forward in the 21st century.
