3:00p.m. to 4:00p.m.
Norfolk and Norwich Millennium Library
Norfolk and Norwich Millennium Library
Norwich GB

This class will cover some of the simplest alterations you might want to make to clothes to make them fit to use and not waste. We will look at taking things in & up, and letting them down & out. Bring along a problem garment and we will think about how to make it work for you or when to decide it's probably best passed on to someone else!

Bring one of the following:
Compost (home made or peat free) ideally dropped off NR3
Garden plants/seeds (especially food)
Garden/DIY help
Organic household products - cleaning/toiletries etc
Surprise me!

About the teacher, Sophie Cabot

I'm an archaeologist and teacher of adults, and I'm also interested in green issues and handmade, homemade, traditional and thrifty skills. I knit, sew, cook, try to grow things, and generally like to have a go at the way things were done on the past, and I hate to see usable things go to waste.
