St Benedict's Street
This class is aimed at newcomers to sourdough bread making. It will give simple step-by-step instructions on developing and caring for a sourdough starter. Students will learn to bake a delicious basic loaf and be given ideas for enhancing that loaf by changing the flour mix and adding additional ingredients. I will have samples available to try.
Bring one of the following:
Bread proving baskets
Large bread mixing bowl (non-metallic)
Organic bread flour - any variety
