Make a Matchbox Pinhole Camera

12:00p.m. to 2:00p.m.
The Common Room at St Laurence's Church
St Benedict's Street
Norwich GB

Pinhole cameras are great fun to use and simple to make. In this class you will learn how to make a simple camera using only a matchbox, drinks can, electrical tape and a roll of 35mm film! I will provide instruction and most of the materials but please bring a roll of 35mm film which can be bought at most chemists or photographic shops. Please choose colour film, or colour process black and white - the roll will say C-41 on the side - this way you can take it away to be developed and printed after the class.

Bring one of the following:
35mm film
An inkpen
Local honey
Organic bread flour - any variety
Somewhere to practise piano

About the teacher, Elspeth Hart

I am a graduate of fine art specializing in printmaking and analogue photography. I have made a variety of different pinhole cameras over the past few years and they are so easy to make and the results so rewarding that I would like to share this technique.
