Rag rugging was a popular way of using up worn-out clothes and pieces of cloth during the 19th century. There was a bit of a revival during the Second World War and is getting popular again. During this class you'll find out about the styles and techniques of simple rag rugging. By the end of the class, you'll have a tiny rag rug to take away with you.
Bring one of the following:
00 PIzza/Pasta Flour (can be bought from the Deli opposite St. Andrews Hall)
Empty jam jars with lids
Fairtrade Tea or Coffee
Produce from your Garden/Allotment
