Introduction to Indian Cooking

An introductory lesson in Indian cooking, focusing on identifying and using different spices and ingredients. Students will be given a traditional (easy) recipe to try at home along with a chance to taste a pre-made version of the same in class!

Bring one of the following:
A demijohn
A hardy indoor plant
A set of oil pastels (even slightly used is fine)
An old wingback armchair (can pick this up after the class)
Anything handmade
Carpentry/ Woodworking lesson (similar duration)
Childrens outdoor playhouse
Organic/ homegrown produce

About the teacher, Esther Lall Durowoju

I was born in India and learned to cook from my mother and grandmother. I cook healthy, flavoursome and traditional Indian food. I am an architect by profession, and love all things creative. I am looking to expand my horizons by learning new skills. I am always happy to barter for knowledge!
