We will be experimenting with lighting techniques from simple but dramatic Victorian methods to professional studio lighting. You will pick up skills and ideas that you will be able to use in your own photography - whether you are a budding beginner or a hopefully pro. Bring your own camera and tripod, if you have one. There will be the opportunity to pose for your own portrait and take a digital copy home.

Laurie's debut novel - The Reluctant Celebrity - was first self-published as an ebook in March 2014, but after achieving Amazon chart success it was picked up by independent London publisher, Austin Macauley. The Reluctant Celebrity was published by Austin Macauley in May 2015 and is available as a paperback and an ebook on Amazon and through most major retailers. Laurie's second novel Snap is due for publication in early 2016, and she is now working with a leading London literary agent for her third novel Three Months to Live. I am a guitarist and songwriter playing for around 30 years. I teach beginners and intermediate guitar and run a variety of musical workshops. I work with young adults with SEN and have run a number of projects to encourage musicianship and performance. I am a member of the Musician's Union which provides PLI for all my activities. I have three, current, enhanced DBS certificates the last being the new updateable version.
