Singing Ringing Lemon TV Dinner

5:30p.m. to 9:30p.m.
Chin's Push
4917 York Blvd
Los Angeles US

Lemons! Bright lumps! Singing and ringing from yours or a neighbor’s tree! Give them a chance to be all they can be. Since moving here from grim Scotland I have stopped, pointed and gasped at each lemon tree I encounter, a daily occurrence in my new habitat, aka Los Angeles. I’d like to share my enthusiasm for these fruits by teaching you how easy it is to preserve lemons and limes for sweet and savory teeth. Let us preserve, cook and feast. Let us read a Japanese tale about a lemon that changed a man’s life. And let us watch the haunting eastern European fairytale film, The Singing Ringing Tree, whilst stuffing our mouths with zest infused edibles. Each student should bring: Limes, lemons. 4 jars for preserving.

Bring one of the following:
2lb butter
bag of salt and bag of sugar
bottle of liquor
bottle of olive oil
fancy black peppercorns
