About the teacher, Stacy Zink

Stacy Zink became interested in sewing and textiles at a young age. A love of dying and surface design soon followed. At the age of 16, she began apprenticing with a fabric and clothing designer, learning the art of dying, weaving, sewing and knitting. Many years later, after apprenticing with other designers around the country, Stacy began showing her own line of handwoven and hand dyed work nationally. After becoming a mother, Stacy’s focus shifted, and she now spends many hours doing hand work which can be done almost anywhere while homeschooling her two sons.
