DIY Silkscreen Printing

4:00p.m. to 7:00p.m.
Pop-Hop Books and Print
5002 York Blvd
Los Angeles US

Screen printing is fun! But pretty frustrating sometimes. Especially when you've had to improvise and make your printing area with common household items. Getting the hang of it can take time, patience and guidance. Our trade will provide two of the three, you bring the third. We'll focus on some of the more common problems you might run into when printing using a makeshift/jury-rigged/DIY studio space. It'll also provide materials and maybe even some good times. This class requires no prerequisite but works as a fun compliment/continuation To DIY Silksceen Studio/Set-Up. Materials provided and we'll provide a few bags and/or shirts to print on, but if you have any items of your own you'd like to spruce up feel free to bring them along.

Bring one of the following:
Access to (or borrowing of) woodworking tools
Material or time donation to your favorite non-profit organization
Organizational skills
Sewing skills
Woodworking skills
