This is a SUPER fun thing to do and make GREAT gifts. We will be wrapping soap in WOOL (has to be WOOL) to make soap pretty and exfoliating! Google DIY felted soap images for some inspiration. (http://bit.ly/2j7FVtg) Supplies (please bring) 2 to 4 oz wool roving in your favorite color or colors (we'll share - great to have an assortment of colors). Here’s where you can purchase wool roving on Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_sb_ss_c_0_6?url=search-alias%3Daps&field-keywords=wool+roving&sprefix=Wool+r%2Caps%2C304 Several bars of soap (if you'd like hand crafted soap made at a previous class, I'll trade hand crafted soaps for dog treats or wool roving). Bits & pieces of WOOL yarn (if you have a stash) to adorn your felting. Optional: a felting needle if you want to attempt the fancy designs I'll prepare some snacks and if you are so inclined bring a snack to share.

Bring one of the following:
A bag of about 3 cu ft of potting soil (not Miracle Grow)
Bottle of Dr. Bronner’s Pure Castile Soap (16 oz.)
Case of 4oz canning jars
Case of 8oz canning jars
Dog treats - not rawhide

About the teacher, Kathie Adams

I really enjoy DIY and have had many years experience of organizing a monthly craft club, where we make new things that interest us. Making jam, books, stamps, paper, soap and felted soap have been annual favorites. I currently work as a psychotherapist and have retired from a career in engineering.
