Beginner Conversational Spanish

5:00p.m. to 6:30p.m.

This project-based class will focus on Conversation (no papers or worksheets). In the process of making lemonade, we will learn several verbs and tenses as well as some basic vocabulary. You will spend a fun Spanish hour of full immersion from the moment you enter the room. //SUPPLIES: Students should each bring two lemons to make the lemonade.

Bring one of the following:
100% Essential Oil (Jasmine, Gardenia, Tea Tree, Eucalyptus or Lavender)
2 Gallons of White Vinegar (cheapest brand ok - it’s for cleaning)
Bag of Dark or Ultra-Dark Coffee (no Medium /Columbian roast please)
Block of Beeswax (any size)
Bottle of Reisling
Box of Borax or Washing Soda
Fresh SAGE that I can use for burning.

I worked for the Los Angeles Unified School District as an ESL teacher for over 20 years. I’ve also taught Spanish in various schools in the area, and privately. I have a CA Teaching Credential, and have been homeschooling my two children for 7 years.
