Icing & Stacking a Cake like a Pro

Be prepared for a one-of-a-kind, interactive cake decorating experience! Students participating in this fun and hands-on class will learn how to level a cake, ice a cake in two different textures, and how to properly stack a two-tier cake. By the end of this class, every student will be able to ice and stack a cake like a pro! *Cake boards and boxes will be provided, but students will need to provide (1) one un-iced and un-leveled 6" round cake in any flavor, (1) one un-iced and un-leveled 8" round cake in any flavor, and (4) 16 oz containers of icing. If you cannot provide the needed supplies please contact Trade School 48 hours prior to class.

Bring one of the following:
*I have arranged with Trade School to be the class volunteer
*REQUIRED: supplies in class description
a surprise: local wine, a self-help book, free-range eggs, gardening help in Spring 2016, flavoring extracts
attend a 45 minute Trade School volunteer training before class
give back to Trade School with a PWYC membership

About the teacher, Asia Coffee

A native of Indianapolis, Asia Coffee is a commercial interior designer by profession who loves to decorate cakes and teach cake decorating classes in her spare time. She has been decorating for family and friends for seven years and has been teaching for five years as a certified Wilton Method Instructor. Asia is passionate about cake decorating and is looking forward to the exciting opportunity to share her knowledge with others through Trade School!
