During this class you will learn the basic technical aspects to producing alcohol for human consumption. Application of these skills will allow you to create your own alcoholic beverages such as beer, hard cider, mead, or wine. Beer will be the central topic of discussion, but non-grain recipes will also be discussed when techniques and concepts overlap. Fundamental concepts will be reinforced with visual aids when appropriate, and you will leave with an understanding of how to produce, package, and analyze alcoholic beverages.
