Hand lettering is the art of writing beautifully. Rather than using a pre-established “font,” letters are hand-crafted for the specific application... thus these creations are truly one-of-a-kind! You can use hand lettering for stationary, scrapbooking, t-shirt and fabric design, and so much more. In this class, we'll introduce you to the world of hand lettering, and then we'll practice our new-found skills by making a piece of stationery for a special someone! *Please bring a pencil and eraser!
Bring one of the following:
a handmade surprise (no food please)
fresh local produce
gridded notebooks (at least 5"x7")
homemade/paper-crafted/collaged bookmarks, or stationary (the zanier, the better!)
organic dark chocolate
organic tea (loose leaf or bagged)
something else you’d like to offer (you will coordinate a 1-1 exchange with the teacher)
to volunteer for this class as a facilitator (we’ll send you info!)
