Thai Cuisine Basics

A class on the basics of Thai cooking and the unique set of flavors native to the country. I will demonstrate how to make a delicious Massaman curry- everyone will get a taste :) I am also able to provide sound travel advice on my time spent living in Thailand - primarily Bangkok and southern Thailand.

Bring one of the following:
Acrylic painting tips or supplies
Help with a chaotic garden
Help with vegetarian/vegan cooking
Knitting (basics and above)

About the teacher, Krista Decoste

After graduating from StFX University with a Bachelor of Business Administration in 2009, I spent a number of years abroad living in Central and South East Asia. There I spent time primarily in South Korea where I was an ESL Instructor and Project Coordinator and in Thailand where I was a professional Dive Master and Operations Manager of the onsite dive center at a Condé Naste Johansens resort. After approximately 6 years, I returned to Canada and made talent acquisition my career. In my downtime I enjoys all sorts of sports, COOKING, shopping at the local farmers markets or hanging out with my rescue cat from Thailand- Pepper.
