Dumpster Diving 101

4:00p.m. to 8:00p.m.
The Living Room
2353 Agricola St
Halifax CA

Zach Gough and I were inspired to offer this class after we fed ourselves during a weekend artist retreat for pretty much free. We were both short on cash, and living the summer life off the seat of our pants when we sought out a (now, too popular) dumpster to scavenge for our weekend out of town. We were happy (to say the least) by what we saw, but were truly in awe at the end of the weekend, when we reflected on how many people we fed. Dumpster diving is also an eye opening experience into the underbelly of consumerist culture, and an exciting way to make delicious food. Our hope is to reveal the splendour of this creative, and economical way of life. (4pm ---- Dumpster Diving Adventure, 6pm ---- Preparing a Fine Meal, 7:30pm ---- Enjoying the Fine Meal)
