Laughter yoga is a unique concept that gets you laughing for no apparent reason. The concept consists of laughter exercises combined with deep belly breathing. There will be a guided meditation at the end. Laughter yoga is suitable for everyone: the exercises are aerobic, yet not physical. However, due to its highly aerobic nature, it is not recommended for women in early pregnancy, i.e. those in their first trimester. Amongst the benefits of laughter yoga: - Reduces stress - Strengthens the immune system - Elevates the mood - Oxygenates the body and the brain and makes one feel energetic and more productive - Improves the quality of social relationships - Helps to develop and keep a positive mental attitude in difficult times - An easy, fun and efficient cardio and abdominal workout :-D

About the teacher, Kira Cantatore

Kira Cantatore arrived in Geneva in 2000 after a career in sales and marketing in Finland, working in pharma for over 10 years. Her passion was always elsewhere, and she finally followed her heart in 2014 and is now working as an Energy Therapist and a Yoga teacher for Kids and Families as well as a Laughter Yoga Leader (private/group/families/corporate) at Sunflower-Power (https://www.facebook.com/KiranSunflowerPower?fref=ts)
