Introduction to Chess - Part 2

This is a follow up on the session that covered the rules of the game. That means, if you just know the rules and want to learn the basic principles of piece engagement, then this session is for you. If you don't know the rules yet, you will have to wait for a re run on the previous session. If you already play the game this session is also not for you as we will be drawing on very simple concepts.

Bring one of the following:

help me practice my basic French

tips about how to network to find a job
your presence

About the teacher, Paulo Barbosa

I am a professional trainer and I develop and deliver training courses for international corporations. On my spare time I deliver chess classes to children or coach them for competition. I have a University degree in Education and a true passion for teaching. I am also part of one of the chess clubs in Geneva and although an amateur, I am a fairly strong chess player.
