Ayurveda and Yoga are sister sciences and, in Ayurveda, yoga practice is part of daily life. AyurYoga®, created by Dr. Vasant Lad of the Ayurvedic Insititute, is a unique blend of classical Hatha Yoga, Pranayama, Mudra and Meditation practices to harmonise the mind, body and soul following basic Ayurvedic principles. It serves to bring balance at all levels depending on seasonal changes, stages In life, and finally individual constitution. This holistic approach encourages us to be present and to observe our individual needs at each moment so that we achieve optimum health. During a group class the practice will be adapted to the season and the time of day. To get the most out of the class, please have a light breakfast one hour or more before the class; wear loose comfortable clothing, preferably cotton and light in colour (I’ll explain why during the class); bring a towel to put on the yoga mat supplied; speak to your doctor before registering if you have any specific health issues.

Bring one of the following:
fresh organic ginger
1 bunch of flowers
2 kilos local, seasonal organic fruit
2 kilos local, seasonal organic veg
2 kilos organic basmati rice
2 kilos organic quinoa
3 bunches organic coriander
Organic argan oil
organic goat’s cheese

About the teacher, Janet Gomez

L'ayurvéda, le yoga, la nutrition et l'alimentation jouent un rôle important dans ma vie. Au fil des années j'ai suivi de nombreuses cours, stages et formations et j'ai lu de nombreuses livres et je continue à lire, à étudier, à observer (on apprend toujours!). J'ai du plaisir à partager avec toute personne intéressée, surtout ceux/celles qui vivent une vie trépidante (comme moi!) pour les guider vers du bien-être.
