Hypnotic Writing

6:30p.m. to 8:30p.m.
6A Nicolson St
Edinburgh GB

Done well, writing of any kind is a form of hypnosis. Paraphrasing the Oxford English Dictionary, hypnosis is, "The induction of a state of consciousness in which a person highly responsive to suggestion or direction." Why do we write? To suggest something, or encourage action of some kind. So writing is a form of hypnosis (or it should be if it's done well). So how do we do it well? This session will set you down the path toward your own answer to that question.

Bring one of the following:
A little box of mischief.
An open mind.
The biggest, thickest elastic band you can find, buy or steal.
Your promise to bring a friend to the next class.
Your promise to contribute to a future class.
