If you want to learn how to crochet then this is the class for you! For those who don't know what crochet is, it's a wee bit like knitting but with one hook/needle. In this class I'll teach you how to start off and do 2 basic stitches to make the classic "granny square". Once you know how to make a granny square you can make as many as you like to even make a blanket- the world of crochet is your oyster! Please bring a crochet hook (any middle size eg. 4.0, 4.5 or 5.0mm) and 2 colours of wool. I will have some spare if you can't get hold of any.

Bring one of the following:
A woolly hat
Guidebook for Vietnam
Homebaking
Houseplant
Maps

About the teacher, Eva Mahler

My Mum taught me to crochet a few years ago, just doing basic granny squares and using lots of her lovely old Shetland wool in amazing colours. Since then I've taught myself a few more techniques and would love to spread the word about this very easy-to-learn skill.
