Learn how to make your own tote bag from recycled materials. Rick will inspire you with his handmade creations, and invite you to create a bag that you can take home. Sewing equipment will be on hand, if you can bring along 2 pieces of fabric 45cm x 40cm each for you bag (in addition to your barter item) that will really help.

Bring one of the following:
An offer to teach a Trade School class yourself
Anything broken that has lots of parts (e.g. an old iron)
Home made cake

About the teacher, Rick Sanders

Rick lives in Stourbridge. He is a performance poet, project manager, recycled bag maker and radio presenter for grassroots poetry at Brum Radio. Rick is co-host of Dudley's Grande Slam, a monthly poetry event at Cafe Grande on Stone Street in Dudley.
