Interested in Sign Language? Maybe you've always wanted to have a go? Come along to this Introduction to Sign Language class and see what it's all about! This will be a fun, interactive class and we'll cover topics such as: Fingerspelling, basic everyday signs, facial expressions and body language, numbers. By the end of the class you'll be able to hold a basic conversation in BSL and will have learnt a number of different signs and new techniques.

About the teacher, Siobhan Michaels

I learned British Sign Language a couple of years ago because I was curious about it. It’s opened my eyes to the challenges deaf people may encounter in their day to day lives. I grew up in Sedgley, I live in Dudley now. I’m also a sci-fi geek.
