About the teacher, Rebecca

I have been styling hair for a while. I love being able to create hair that looks amazing and complicated but is simple if you know how. The best part of styling for me is making people feel great!

Create you own funky flower pots! Tom, Kerry and Dave want to help you to create planters out of recycled materials. Imagine Pansies in plastic bottles, Chrysanthemums in colanders or even Sunflowers in old shoes! Bring small unused, unloved items and turn them into something beautiful.

Hi we are Tom, Kerry and Dave and we are members of Bayer Street Allotments. We are passionate about growing and passionate about the community. We aim to be amazing at sharing our inspiration and love for growing. We are a friendly, fun, knowledgeable group who work on various projects within Coseley, including the railway station planting, working with local schools and play groups and community harvests and meals

Asher and Amy have recently formed Aace Dance Company and they want to help you to let go, have fun and ‘dance like no one is watching!’ You can learn some Latin dance school choreography, have fun and shake and shimmy the hour away. Remember to wear appropriate clothing and comfy dancing shoes and bring a bottle of water.

About the teacher, Janet

Janet was born and lives in Dudley. A graduate of Chelsea School of Art, she has worked with people of all ages to facilitate learning about Art, in schools, colleges /adult education and voluntary sector workshops (from Oh! in Bethnal Green to Edinburgh College of Art). Has long ago come to the conclusion that art can’t be ‘taught’! (But people can be helped to see for themselves).

Crochet basics and beyond

Crochet the afternoon away with us! It doesn't matter if you are new to crochet and fancy giving it a go or whether you just fancy having a go at crocheting something different there something for everyone! At this class you can learn to crochet from scratch or learn to crochet a Christmas tree. You will need to bring along a 1×4.50mm hook 2 different colours double knit yarn (greens and white are best), oddments of ribbon for your Christmas trees and Christmas colours or yellow for the star maybe.

About the teacher, Heather

I was taught to crochet before the age of 5. hence I can't remember being taught. I've crafted/crochet/sewn/knitted/painted/drawn all my life, but I'm still learning and love learning new crafts or skills. I re taught myself crochet to a better standard when I was 22.... self taught.

Christmas Crafternoon
