SO WHAT IS COLLAGE - A collage is a piece of art made by sticking various different materials such as photographs and pieces of paper or fabric onto a backing. / WHAT WILL BE LEARNT - This class will teach and inspire you to exercise the lyrical potentials of scrap materials as well as help you realize the intrinsic relevance of this art form in your life. At the end of the class you will make a special collage of your own. / ACHIEVEMENT - We will scan and compile all our artworks at the end of the class into a zine that will be sent to all participants in pdf form so that you can print and give out to your friends. / DISCLAIMER - This collage class is not a scrapbooking class. Collage relates more to Dadaism than to PlazaSingPaperMarket. / WHO CAN BE A COLLAGIST? - A collage artist is someone who challenges the intellectual capacity of everyday objects and trash. He or she is an activist who always challenges and reinvents the status quo. / WHY LEARN THIS? - Collage is a perfectionists game and a creative persons vodka shot. It exercises your aesthetic skills of arrangement and expands the transient space between your brief and your execution. Upon graduation from the class, the skillset can help graphic designers ascertain their layout skills, photographers/film makers their visual schematics etc. / CONCLUSION - This Collage class will be a watershed moment in your life. You will look back and realise how much less of a person you would be if you hadn't attended this.

Bring one of the following:
Old bag of school or work documents you are about to throw. Data sheets/timetables/exam papers/collatorals especially those that you feel strongly AGAINST.
Pile of old / interesting magazines you no longer need. Especially those that you can RELATE to.
Snacks and drinks and papers of different shape and size
Spend an hour to collect as much objects/trash around your neighborhood that speaks about the character of the PLACE.
Things in your home that you want to throw but you feel are PERSONAL to you somehow.
