Bring an old singlet, tank top, t-shirt or even pillowcase for this class and find out how to make your own re-usable shopping bag! You will learn how to use a table top sewing machine from scratch in order to put together this unique recycled bag. *baggu means bag in japanese

Bring one of the following:
1 inch masking tape roll
an electric tabletop sewing machine that you hide at the back of your broom cupboard
an old and neglected bag you don't mind giving to us
post photographs with completed bags on facebook
stool

About the teacher, A Craft Initiative

A Craft Initiative hopes to bring together people who enjoy working with their hands, exploring and experimenting with materials to design and make their own creations. The studio currently plays host to three projects: Uyii: a new local bag label, Pipedreams: a hundred clouds project and Siol: music inspired design with an edge.
