learn the basics of kombucha fermentation for home brewers. this class will take you through the components of how to make your own kombucha (including hygiene practices, materials you will need, and how to maintain your culture). we will taste two flavours of kombucha and students will go home with their own culture, or SCOBY, to begin brewing kombucha at home.

Bring one of the following:
a bottle of craft beer
a clever dripper
a donation to love kuching project (http://www.lovekuchingproject.org)
a non-commercial starter or home-fermented product
bob's red mill artisan bread flour
your favourite poem
